About me

My current office setup.

Ever since I built my first PC with my brother at 13, I've been in love with computers and technology.

I've spent the majority of my professional career working with technology. My role in the Air Force put me in daily contact with high tech troubleshooting, planning, and mission execution.

Post Air Force, I returned to Florida to finish my college education. I chose to specialize in Web Design, where I was able to leverage my technical skills gained from my time in the Air Force.

Before graduating, I took on jobs in PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. After graduating, I landed a full time gig as a Javascript and Ruby on Rails engineer.

In the last 6 years, I've been a full stack Python engineer. I just love Python for its ease of use and versatility. Seriously, what *can't* Python do?

I’m always interested in new technology, and learning new skills is one of my favorite pastimes. I’m even working on my Private Pilot’s License!

Why work with me?

Empathy

I've worked with a huge range of people, so I always put myself in the user's shoes first. I love creating solutions that work for many different cultures.

Creativity

The most obvious solutions aren't always the right solutions. I enjoy working with stakeholders to engineer the best possible software for their complicated needs.

Grit

My father taught me the value of hard work. I don't give up easily and will not rest until I have a working solution. I may curse from time to time, but I'll get the job done. :D
